Today is Sister Day!
The first Sunday in August is apparently always Sister Day, a day for celebrating Sisterhood.
Since me and my sister are currently over 1,000 kilometres apart, we will have to celebrate later in August when we meet up next.
In the meantime, a flower for you Susan!
Happy Sister Day!
“It’s hard to be responsible, adult and sensible all the time. How good it is to have a sister whose heart is as young as your own.” ~ Pam Brown
(I think this quote is so apt for me and my sister…)

Thank you Susan!

Wonderful tribute to your sister. I was unfamiliar with Sister Day but was happy to see two of my three sisters yesterday for a special gathering (and tour one’s garden).
How lovely to get together like that! I don’t see my sister often enough as we live so far apart.
Beautiful photo and quote, I have a wonderful sister too! It is a special bond!
Sisters are the best! I loved that quote too!
Hi Cathy, Sunflowers are so happy. The photos of the wind flowers are superb.
Thanks Margaret! I don’t know why, but sunflowers always remind me of my sister!
How wonderful… I am glad you are your Sister are so close especially when you are so far away from each other. She must be a special person because you are.
