Not far from here – just a couple of miles down the valley. Now that our dog is too old to go for walks, I try and get out alone occasionally – it’s so beautiful here, at any time of year! Reply
These are issues I am also concerned with. I like the “Pfaffenhütchen” in pink-orange at this time in the year. Reply
I also think it’s a very clever colour combination! And such elaborate berries too. Have a nice Sunday Uta – hope your weather’s better than ours! Reply
The reflections on the water are lovely – the photo makes me want to jump in the little boat and row away! Reply
We get a lot of tourists here – mostly hikers and cyclists, as the countryside needs to be enjoyed at a slow pace! Reply
I’m glad you like it. All the walks around here are pretty… in diffferent ways perhaps. I’ll have to show some more in the future! Reply
What a lovely walk…is that close by?

Lovely walk…what is the berry-laden bush in the last shot?
It’s a spindle tree (Euonymus). Will try and feature it soon!
What a beautiful place and wonderful photos Thanks Cathy
Thank you Eunice! I love walking down near the water!
Me too

LOL! That boat made me think of Ratty in Wind in the Willows! (Except his was blue!)
You certainly live in a scenic area–just lovely!

Very nice Cathy. I like the way you arranged those beautiful pics.
Thank you Strawberryindigo – the autumn light is wonderful for taking photos!
Lovely pictures Cathy! I like the reflection of the house in the water.
The sunflowers and the boat caught my eye…
