I have only grown Dahlias once. In a large container in a sunny position, against a warm wall. They hated it!
Since then I haven’t given them much thought.
I’ve also often thought of them as “blousy”, i.e. a bit loud and garish.

Dahilas are such lovely, blousy flowers! They grace the second part of out summer and early Autumn here in the UK. I wouldn’t be without them. Enjoy!
Only potted ones that I paid $2.50 for! I am a hit or miss gardener. If it doesn’t grow it gets thrown!
