Highlights from an English Garden in Spring (Part 2)

My Mother’s garden is a little paradise, full of surprises. Here are some more treasures I  found while I was there over the Easter weekend…

Primula elatior (Oxslip)

Lords and Ladies

An Epimedium

Blue Pulmonaria

And more hellebores

  1. The closeups are great, Cathy. Such beautiful specimins!
Do you have some long shots, too? I’d love to get a sense of the garden as a whole…
(Or, did I miss those somewhere in the last week? )

      • I’m afraid none of the longshots turned out well… the weather was so terrible I only managed a few close-ups when the sun came out for the odd moment here and there! Will be there in the summer again though!

    • My Mum and I talked about this at the weekend. Some names are nicer in English, but some German names are prettier, like “Sonnenhut” for coneflowers! 🙂
