The scene is still pretty, despite the rain. 🙂 We would really welcome some balmier temperatures here! With the windchill this morning it was minus 38 degrees Celsius – it’s been ferociously cold! (And I live in the “warm” part of the province – it was even colder in the north!).
This time of year is the dreariest, simply because I start itching to get out in the garden again and spring usually takes longer to arrive than I hope!
Hope you get some sunshine soon Cathy. Winter is easier to bear when there are some bright sunny days. We finally had a lovely, warm day yesterday but rain expected again today. Best, Susie
Much the same scene here…the snow is patchy, and tomorrow will be unseasonably warm.
The foggy mountain in the back looks mysterious!
It’s a hill on the other side of the river… it’s been in the cloud and fog most of this winter!
Tropical 🙂
😉
Our snow has gone. Now, everything is wet.
Same here Uta. 😦
So sad… Hopefully, there’s fresh snow in the near future.
I’m ready for spring now, but I’m sure we’ll have a bit more yet.
Your photo looks still like winter! After a few warm days it should be getting colder again. Maybe there´ll be some snow as well?
I always get impatient for spring in February, but some pretty frosts would be nice…. and some sunshine!
Now why does that sound familiar Cathy? I think that we are just that one day ahead of you 🙂
We often get similar weather to the UK when it comes off the Atlantic, even though we are landlocked.
That is one bleak looking photo. I feel how dreary it is all the way across the Atlantic
Your sympathy is touching! Thanks!

Oh my goodness, that IS cold! Wrap up warm, Sheryl! Hope you get some milder weather soon!
Oh too bad…it is raining here too but snow will follow it again…hoping you have a bit more snow.

I wonder why the rain comes after it snows. And if, there will be sunshine to follow the rain.
I hope so, Mary. We could do with some sun here. It’s been such a grey winter so far.

Thanks Susie! Wishing you sunshine too! 😀
