Tuesday View (18th November)

Another year of Tuesday views has passed. Time for a new view? Time for something completely different? I shall be chewing this over in the coming week – any ideas would be welcome! In the meantime here’s today’s view – a typical rainy November day!

And here’s a look back over the past year… Grab a cup of coffee and take a look at the slideshow!

    • Still so mild here too Julie, although the nights are getting colder. The slide show is an option when I upload photos to my wordpress media library. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Surely not another year of views Cathy – is has gone round so quickly but has been most enjoyable. I wonder what you will come up with next. Will check in next Tuesday ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Love your slide show, you still have color! I am surprised but that is a good thing that it isn’t really cold for you yet. Our temperatures tonight are suppose to be 17 degrees with a -2 wind chill, I am afraid winter is here early!

    • Last winter was extremely mild and fairly dry. The year before was completely different, so I’m wondering what’s in store this year – still haven’t had any really cold temperatures.

  3. The slideshow really shows just how much one area changes in a year; I love how the trees in the background make so much difference to the feeling in the garden. I find it really useful to have a view that I follow, I realise I’ve been showing the slope for more than two years so I should maybe change too. If you have another view you’d like to share I would enjoy following it through the year but if you want to do something completely different I’m sure you’ll think of something interesting for us as readers too.

  4. Hi Cathy, I had forgotten how snow looked like ๐Ÿ™‚ Itยดs amazing to see change over the year. This year Iยดve registered dates to remind myself next year to look for something.

    • Thank you Susie. I don’t like looking at it in January or February, when it seems that nothing will ever grow again, but then it gets better by March and April is just wonderful!

  5. Once again, I’m struck by the great way you use slideshows to show changes, and also by the wonderful way the woodland comes into the garden. Your attention to foliage, stems etc. reminds me a little of Adrian Bloom’s garden at Foggy Bottom – really special Cathy. Thanks

    • I was not familiar with Adrian Bloom so I googled his garden and am very flattered! One day I will visit some of the famous gardens in England… ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. I’m a little late to the “Tuesday” viewing, but I am glad I could view such a comprehensive slideshow. I actually like the views with the snow! There’s something quite magical about your beautiful garden under that white blanket. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • I do hope we get a lttle snow this year too, but not as much as they had in the north of your country! It transforms everything by reflecting the light and sparkling in the sunshine. Have a good week Debra! ๐Ÿ™‚
