🙂 I can’t wait to see the first new shoots of bulbs planted in the new beds and at our gate! Peony time seems a long way off, but we have much to look forward to before then too. I haven’t planted any peonies in my new garden yet, but hope to bring some over from the other garden next autumn. 🙂
Cathy a divine peony. I wish you a Happy New Year 2019 full of love, joy, health, peace and gardening in your new garden. May all your wishes come true. 🙂 Greetings from Margarita.
Happy New Year Cathy. It is shaping out to be a great one. I hope you are doing well. I love your vase. You have given me some ideas for next Christmas.
I’m a bit late but better late than never – best wishes for 2019 and always, Cathy. Hope all is well and I wish you good luck and plenty of energy and creativity for your projects especially the new garden. I’m dying to see how it’s progressing. xx
Hi Annette. Happy 2019 to you too! The garden is not progressing at the moment as it is frozen solid! But we are putting in for planning permission for the greenhouse soon and I am already thinking about seed sowing on windowsills. 🙂
We know which greenhouse we want, a victorian style one on a stone wall base, but we need to get the planning permission before we buy one as the area all around our new house is ‘Aussenbereich’. We have to have proper plans for the planning permission so are waiting for the architect to get back to us. Then the builders need to be contacted. So the coordination is a bit complicated and delivery times are months! It will probably be finished just in time for next winter! LOL!
Peonies are among my favorite flowers – can’t wait until they bloom again. Looking forward to watching your new garden grow in the year ahead. 🙂

That’s great! Have you already chosen the greenhouse? We must change ours this spring and I’m still undecided.
