Oh, dear, I hope they leave some to self-sow.
I sometimes let the dog chase the bunny, but it is such a joke because she runs around the garden, they run the opposite way and she never sees that happen. Lame, but a temporary reprieve from the nibblers. π
Cathy what a wonderful and sweet photo. That little hare among your flowers, I love it. Even if she bites a bit on the leaves, wouldn’t you like her to stay and live there? It is adorable. Very affectionate greetings from Margarita xx
π He or she didnβt move an inch while I took the photo. Didnβt try and get too near though as the German word for someone who is fearful of everything is ‘Angsthase’ – scared hare!
So cute and much more so than my groundhogs here in the states. I had one cottontail here for years but it has been 15 years since I last saw one. Bunnies are much cuter than Coyotes, skunks, groundhogs but I bet just as destructive to gardens. I hate wire enclosures but I must for my food but my flowers often lose their seed heads just before they open π
How sweet! It’s tough to be harsh with these cute little nibblers. π
Yes, hard not to get miffed with them! Right now either the hares or the mice have taken a liking to my Nigella flowers and seedheads!

He is gorgeous! Hopefully Mum just wants a good hiding place for him. Amelia
There are several hares in the garden and all seem to have found places to snuggle down!

Well, I hope she will move on when sheβs older. We have more than enough hares in the garden for now!
It’s a wonder that you spotted him! How lovely.
I was watering a plant nearby and something moved under the hellebore foliage! π
They are so sweet…until they eat your favorite plants.
I know. But so far it has been within limits….
Ohhhh, so precious.

Same here Eunuce. Some of my flower buds clearly tasted good! π
π if we didn’t laugh we would cry xo
Oh well spotted Cathy! A nice shady spot to seek refuge.
Yes, I think he/she was looking for shade as we had mown a lot of the surrounding area.
Cute – as long as it’s not in my garden or eating my plants!
I have been very forgiving so far. Just hope we donβt see too many new youngsters!
