(Almost) Wordless Wednesday: A Brief Respite

We made the most of a day without snow at the weekend and walked along this valley nearby…

The forest actually looked GREEN!

The forest floor…

We are back to white again now. ❄️

Have a great week! 😃

    • Luckily our snow has been coming and going and blowing about so it hasn’t been too deep for walking. It is snowing again at the moment but it looks like another big thaw is coming. 😎

  1. What a marvel of forest with all the green soil and what a charming mountain river, I love it !!! Cathy, how lucky you are to have him so close and to be able to walk there, he is fantastic! The snow is back again, we are in winter, patience. I hope it wasn’t too much snow. Stay warm at home. Take care. Have a very good and happy week. Very affectionate greetings from Margarita.😀🤗😘

    • Hi Anna. I have been trying to get out as much as possible but got caught in some nasty north wind at -7°C a few days ago which put me off for a couple of days! 😉❄️

  2. Everything looks so different without snow, and so beautiful and lush! I’m in awe at how well grass and plants survive under the freezing snow, and the way they bounce back so fast when it has melted. 🙂

  3. Beautiful walk Cathy. We are under the cover of ice and snow but I hear we will be having a warm up next weekend into the 40’s F from below zero recently. I was born first week of March and will finally turn 65 I just hope it is not a blizzard like it was when I was born 🙂 but we will take what ever is thrown and tick the days off until I start my seedlings inside and the spinach outside. Stay warm
