This helps further clarify the question of whether Geums attract pollinators! Nice colour on this one. Reply
Yes. I have watched the Geum a few times and there are bees on it, but not for long and not as many as on neighbouring plants. Reply
We have had so many bees this year, even in the cold spring. Yesterday I saw a huge dark one… maybe a carpenter bee? I must try and get a decent photo! Reply
What a pretty flower. I don’t know this one, although it looks a little like a poppy to me? I’ve not been introduced to Geum, but I sure love it. 🙂 Reply

Yes that’s what I found too. I’ve got some Salvia next to mine and that’s positively buzzing 😀
Gorgeous geum, gorgeous bee. Amelia

Sounds like a carpenter – they can be quite noisy but totally harmless.
Very beautiful, especially with the visitor. 🙂
Thanks Beth. 😃
Nice color!
😃 They show up well against pale green foliage.
Really blazing! A lovely shot Cathy 🙂
Thanks. I have fallen hard for this plant! 😃

It flowers all through the summer Debra. I love it!
That’s a lovely little bee! ❤
😃 We have had so many different sorts of bee non-stop this spring and summer!
