Glorious Cathy – the sky too as well as the plants. I imagine that the wood chips keep the moisture in. Is the deep pink spiky plant a veronicacastrum and name of the pink cosmos please 😄
The wood chips really work well in our (normally) dry climate. The pink spikes are Veronica spicata ‘Rotfuchs’ (Red Fox?) and the Cosmos is the Double Click series ‘Rose Bonbon’. They are much prettier than the red ‘Cranberry’ Double Click which is often just a single flower. 😃
The plants all look healthy, happy and colourful. Are they growing in shale or is it wood chips gone grey?
Wood chips gone grey… they have proven to be the best solution in the way of mulching here. 😃

Ooh, lovely photo collage, Cathy! Summer love!
😃 That Cosmos is a winner and the Verbena bonariensis always looks best just as it starts opening. 🌻
Beautiful! 😊

Beautiful colors. Everything has that full-sun glow to it with the grassy background and it looks like you’ve been getting enough rain finally.
We have had loads of rain this year… our drought is officially over! 😃
