Wow what a fabulous display! I love sunflowers. The usual question though: how do you keep the slugs off? I have just one Velvet Queen which looks a bit silly / lonely 😆
I think the woodchip mulch works pretty well. But we didn’t have any slugs in the garden until this year with all our rain!
Really? The slugs seem to enjoy sliding over my wood chips 😂 I gave up this year with battling slugs, just too many of them!
What a beautiful patch of sunshine. I bet it makes you smile every time you look on it.
It does Cindy, and I have taken a trillion photos! 😃
Big smiles! ❤
🌻😄They are starting to fade and flop, but I am hoping for flowers until October. 😉
Oh, they are so cheery and beautiful. 🙂
They certainly do brighten up the garden!
Beautiful! I did not sow any this year, now I wish I had. Amelia
Next year Amelia! Even of only the odd one or two come to anything they are such happy flowers and the bees love them. I was very lucky to have so many do well this year! 😃
They’re lovely, Cathy! I especially like the vibrant red Gaillardia Tokajer – I’m not familiar with it, but it looks fabulous. Happy September!
Amy, lovely to hear from you! I hope your move went well and you have settled in. Look forward to hearing about it some time! 🤗
Glorious! They’re really doing their best to hold onto the last of the summer spectacle!
They are indeed Debra. Although many are looking a bit shabby there are still loads of flowers. 😃🌻
