I haven’t actually read this book, but found it on the internet by chance earlier today -World Teachers’ Day.

It sounds lovely… read the reviews on amazon yourselves!

According to Unesco, World Teachers’ Day is held annually on October 5th to “celebrate the essential role of teachers in providing quality education at all levels”.
In Germany this day is observed but barely celebrated. A shame. In most of Europe the role of teachers is largely underestimated, while in other countries it is joyfully recognized. For example, in El Salvador Teachers Day is a national holiday on June 22nd.
If you love your teacher, show him/her today!
And to all my colleagues:
Keep up the good work!
Keep smiling!
